My sister gives me kisses

Hi Kitties,
Do you see that photo of my sister giving me kisses? My big sister loves me very much.
Tomorrow I will be going to a reading program. We also ordered some new bookmarks with my photo on them to give out to the children, I have to check for them in the human mailbox later today.
Also, this week a cat Jax tested for his therapy license with our club and passed! Jax is a black cat. He did very well. Now there are 2 of us cats in the therapy club.
And I was just informed that I am going to be featured on the website of my mom's department for "service activities". I am very pleased about that, especially because the photo they have selected to use is very, very flattering of me and my fluffiness.

A library visit and being famous

Hi Kitties,

Today's library visit went purr-fect! I spent the day looking out the window and waiting for it to be time to go! There were 6 pet teams (I was the only cat), and at least 40 people came to read to us! Mommie and the librarian talked afterword and he said it is a good turnout for the very first program like that at the library. We were very excited since we helped organize it. I got to hear a lot of stories. My new friend E. who was very small read me some books. She read to me at least 3 times. Then I got to hear some stories from some older girls, and they also told me all about Twilight which is a very interesting book. I know because my mommie was reading it to me last night until 2 in the AM! I mostly tried to sit on the book so she would pet me instead of reading. So I got a lot of pettings. And one of my mommie's co-workers was there with his daughter. She was only 8 but she was reading to me very, very fast. She will probably become a professor too someday because she was very smart. It is too bad that my friend I. did not come because he is also part Russian like me and I wanted to tell him all about my new Russian name..but I will have to wait until next month!
Also, the TV station came to watch me again. I am going to be on the TV tonight at 11 and it will be posted online so I will have it after that. You will get to see it tomorrow I promise!

Hi Kitties,

Well, the news people forgot to come to my reading program. I was a little bit upset but the shooting got rescheduled for April, so I will still be famous sometime soon. Also, my Nursing Home segment aired on the news last night at 11! The news lady called my mommy and told her it will air at 6pm but it did not. But we did not watch at 11. It is going to air again tonight either at 6 or at 11 so we will tape it then and put it online for your kitty-viewing-pleasure!

However the reading program went tremendously well. I handed out some of my new spring-time-fig photos. Everyone liked it. Also, my friend took a photo of me. I did some good posing on a chair. I also wore my green bandanna. I even ran out of photos of me. I need to get my personal photographer to come take some more good photos. Probably I would like some photos with my fishes.

I also listened to a great book about a Siamese Cat who goes on adventures and pretends to be a Chihuaha. I would recommend this book to everyone. I do not remember the title though.

The TV and "Bring your Kitty to Work" day

Hello kitties,

Yesterday afternoon the TV people followed me to the nursing home and took my interview and videos of me for 1 hour. I liked it and I gave a lot of high fives and even my new trick, a double-high-five! I am very pleased with myself. It was sort of like my very own reality show. Like The Bachelor, only without any hot tub scenes. There is going to be another interview in a few weeks and then the whole segment will air on TV. Because the TV was there I had almost double the number of visitors today! I was very happy and everyone petted me a lot.
After that my mommy had a Very Important meeting because she got grant moneys for a project plus 2 new projects! Here comes the fun part. I gotted to go to work with my mommy because she had no time to drop me. I stayed in her office for while she had some meetings and did important things. I was a very good kitty except I did not wanted her to work so I sat on her desk and meowed at her. You can see her office has a one way mirror for important experiments. I did not get to use it though.

Getting ready for the TV.

Hello kitties,

My very important day is coming up, since I will be filmed on the TV tomorrow. The camera crew is going to film me at my favorite Nursing Home (ok they are all my favorite!). Here is me and my mommy a couple of weeks ago for our Live Interview at the studio. It was very exciting. Tomorrow is going to be very important and I hope I do not get any stage frights, because if I do I will forget my high fives again! I am going to be going in my stroller.

Thanks everyone for watching my debut as a TV-star and leaving such nice comments! I am a little bit busy to spend much time on the computer these days but I love to see comments from you. Look at this pawesome map of all my visitors! I am very good at seeing where all the kitties are at. Sometimes too good.
Today we scheduled my shadowed nursing home visit today for the end of the month.

I will be a TV STAR!

Hi Kitties!

Oh my oh my oh my I have so many exciting news to share. Today I got contacted by the local TV station and I WILL BE A TV STAR! I am getting a 2 minute long interview slot on the noon news hour on FRIDAY! THIS FRIDAY! Besides that, next month I will be getting "shadowed" at my nursing home visit and my library visit and they will show the footage of my therapy work on the TV! Can you believe how exciting this is?

Shout-out to Princess Sugar Pie!

Hi kitties,


As you may remember, when I first started my Training to become a threapy cat and before I was even one years old, my Mommie contacted the famous therapy cat Princess Sugar Pie and asked for advice. The advice they gave us was obviously very, very good because here I am only 1/2 a year later as a full fledged therapy cat! Princess Sugar Pie is very famous and she has been on TV. I am very proud that I am becoming a good threapy cat just like her. I am happy to realize also that I am listed on her links for other therapy cats!

Look on the left for a photo of her that I am displaying here from her site. She has many cute outfits. She is a very nice and helpful cat, she has been a therapy cat for a long time now and I aspire to be as good as her someday!

I already got a little bit famous. My daddy was at a work-meeting today and his colleague asked him if he knows about Figaro the Cat who is at the library for reading programs, because he knows my daddy likes cats. And my daddy said, that in fact that I am his cat! And another colleague said, oh there is ANOTHER Figaro who visits my mom's nursing home. And he said, YES that is my cat too and he will be there on Thursday! I feel very special and famous.

I got in the newspapers!

Hi Kitties,

I got a little bit more famous today for spreading all my therapy purrs. I was in the newspapers! Just in the event calendar for our town...here is some of what it said:

Event Calendar

Therapy dogs will be joined by Figaro the cat. Children may bring a book from home or choose one from the library when they arrive.

Lookit, my NAME is right theres! I hope a lot of children will come see me tomorrow! I am excited for tomorrow!
