Kitties,
I have been to the v-e-t for my teeth cleaning yesterday. Let me tell you - it was NOT fun! But I had to go because I needed clean teeth. My new v-e-t is very nice and called to check on me already today. I have been doing fine. I was drowsy when I got back because I had to have some anesthesia. My parents were very worried about taking me so we went to a very good vet, with a doctor, an anesthesiologist, and four or five students looking out for me the entire time. I am still feeling a little bit under the weather.
I have been prescribed to do teeth cleanings more often and to eat some dental treats on a regular basis. I am all for treats!

Hi Kitties,
Well, this morning I had to go to the kitty doctor's office. It was time for my annual checkup and I went to a new vet this time who my mommy really liked but I have to say I am not so sure. I had to get all my shots and I had to have a thermometer to measure my temperature. It was so embarrassing! I also got some heartguard medicine for worm prevention. The only good news is I did a good, good job and did not scratch or bite anyone. Also, because I am a therapy cat I got $5 off my visit fees.
Also this weekend was the library reading program! I have a BIG accomplishment. Usually, I have a room all to myself but this time they made a mistake with scheduling so I had to be in the same room with the therapy dogs. A lot of dogs were there, and I was not scared at all! I did my usual purrs and high fives for everyone! Because it is so close to the holidays, I did not have many visitors since everyone is busy getting ready for Santa Paws.
I got ready for Santa Paws too by decorating our room with a lot of bright lights and hanging up our stocking. We also set up a menorah for good measure, and we will put shoes out our window for the elves, and expect the Father Frost to come for New Years. I hope I get a lot of good gifts to eat - since we celebrate so many of the holidays it is bound to happen! This year for the holidays we adopted a goat.
Happy Hannukah!
Love,
Figaro

For part of my registration, I had to go to the V-E-T to get my physical. It was not so bad, actually, because I did not need to get any shots. But Mom did have to bring a sample of my poo for a fe-cal test. I thought that part was embarrassing.
The V-E-T we have is very, very nice. He said I am a good kitty and he called me "my furry friend." I thinked it was nice. And then he checked all my parts, and said that mom takes "excellent care" of me. Of course she does since I am her bai-bee!! Then I had to take some medicines preventitive just in case I do not get any para-sites. That was okay too because it didn't taste so bad. I did not have to have any shots because I am not due for them until November. And he taked my pulse. It definitely was not as bad as expected. (Also, he did not say I is overweight, so THERE Veronica - no more making funs of my belly).
Now Mom is going to go put the stuff in the mails, and I will be waiting 2-3 weeks to receive my I.D.
